Thursday, March 21st
6pm-8pm Registration and show packets available for those arriving Thursday
evening. (Notice: show pieces will not be allowed in show room until
Friday morning) Initial set up for convention. All board members,
and volunteers are asked to be there to help set up.
Friday, March 22nd
8am-12pm Registration open / show pieces will be accepted until 12pm.
Mounts must be photographed before being placed in the
competition room. Mounts will be placed by the competition room
committee in the showroom.
9am-12pm Seminar 1: Mike Kirkhart “Fish Replica’s from A-Z” Mike will go
through the steps of completing a fish replica, and stop and discuss
any topics needed during the seminar.
9am Judging may start for those show pieces already placed in the show
room.
9am- 5pm Vendor room open
12pm-1pm Lunch on your own / Registration Closes, If running late, call Brad

12pm Silent auction begins (Vendor Room)
1pm-3pm Seminar 2: Dave Pearson “Making Eyes” Learn the process of how to
make your own eyes for taxidermy.
3pm-5pm Seminar 3: Todd Kranau “Hands On Cape Prepping” Bring your own
tanned cape of any kind, and Todd will go through and guide you in
detail prepping the face during this seminar. It will be a great way to
learn and get your cape ready for the Kansas Scramble live mounting
competition later that evening.
5:30pm Pizza in Hospitality Room
6pm-10pm Seminar 4: KS Scramble, live mounting competition. Anyone can
enter, just register on the registration page. Winner will take the
cash pot of all the entry fees and receive a plaque. 2nd place
receive a plaque. 1st and 2nd place will be decided by a people’s
choice vote of those in attendance at the end of the scramble. Cash
bar will be available.
Saturday, March 23rd
8am-9am Registration open for day pass (Membership Required) - no mounts
accepted
8am-4pm Vendor room open
8am-10am Seminar 5: Larry O’Malley “Mounting an Aggressive Whitetail” Larry
will show the process of mounting a aggressive whitetail including
the topic of eyes, ears, and hair patterns
9am-11am Kid’s Seminar
10am-12pm Seminar 6: Lowell Shapely “ Mounting a pheasant”
12pm Silent Auction ends; all items must be paid by 2pm to Brian Sigman
12pm-1pm Lunch on your own
1pm-3pm People's Choice Voting / Showroom open for public viewing
3pm-5pm Seminar 7: Jonathan Owens: “Antler repair and staining”
6pm Cash bar opens
6:30 pm Dinner / Awards Winners please try to get your picture taken
before you turn in for the night
Sunday, March 24th
9:00am-??? Business Meeting
Mounts released after the business meeting. Please help all out of state
competitors go first. Tear down; all board members and volunteers are
asked to help
